Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British music producer and singer. Harry Styles was one of the original members of One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on 1 February 1994, he is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former pupil of the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive schools formed a group called White Eskimo along with three other students. They won the Battle of Bands in 2009, thanks to their outstanding results. Though he's been attracted to music, he also hoping to be an attorney or physiotherapist. To support the family he took an hour or so working at a bakery. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was performed by Stevie Wonder. This is why his group were forced to split. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles be part of the band to be named One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group, which formed in 2010. The group performed hits like My Life Would Suffer Without You from Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. The group was one of the candidates for the award. They came third, a place behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles was not the winner. Cowell had paid 2,000,000 pounds in a contract for One Direction.
