Lucy Liu is an American actress voice actress director producer and singer. She's attractive and intelligent actress who inspires numerous Asian actors to achieve success in Hollywood. After a series of initial appearances on popular TV shows, she gained fame by joining the team of the legal comedy series Ally McBeal where she played the sly Ling Woo. After a sudden surge in her popularity, she got roles on the big screen like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. Her performance was outstanding as Japanese O-Ren, a gangster from Japan (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. At the same time she appeared in box-office flops like Rise: Blood Hunter. In later years, she worked as an actor in voice for animated movies, such as Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason's part on Cashmere Mafia, a small screen movie, did not produce positive results. Southland - a critically acclaimed crime-drama - established her as a leading actress.
